Mr. Liu was born in 1979, he obtained the Bachelor of Arts on English in 2001, and succeeded in the bar examination in 2007, he is now working on the Juris-master degree in Sun Yat-sen University.
Mr. Liu has once been a legal English lecturer in college, and has ever worked in a multinational apparel corporation based in Hong Kong, he joined in H.J.M International Law Office as a lawyer in 2008.
Mr. Liu focuses his legal practice in the areas of foreign investment, corporate legal affairs consulting, international trading, intellectual property, tax planning, commercial litigation and arbitration.
Mr. Liu has offered a variety of legal services, among which the significant examples are as below:
Acting as a legal advisor to a foreign investment company;
Representing a Canadian-based company to file a claim against its employees in China for infringement of trade secrets;
Representing a foreign investment company in Zhongshan to defend in the arbitration and litigation on labor disputes filed by its former general manager;
Providing legal services on set-up of a large-scale foreign investment company;
Providing due diligence and other relevant legal services during the process of M&A of foreign companies;
Drafting and reviewing various agreements;
Providing accurate and efficient interpretation and translation services on legal subjects.
Besides the proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese, Mr. Liu is well-versed in English, he has ever won honors and awards in CCTV English contest sponsored by China Central Television and the 2009 Legal English Speech Contest jointly sponsored by Guangzhou Lawyers Association and Guangzhou Judges Association.
