Basic Information
Attorney Yaohong Song graduated from Shanghai Huadong Politics and Law College. Later, she studied at Wuhan University Law Postgraduate College and Jinan University Business Management Specialized Postgraduate College, earning a Master’s Degree. Currently, Ms. Song is Vice-Professor at Jinan University’s Law College as well as a lawyer at H.J.M. Law Office.
Work Experience:
1) Since 1984, Ms. Song has been engaged in educational services. She has lectured Contract Law and Marriage Law and vice-lectured Civil Law, Commercial Law and Economic Law at Jinan University. She had the honor of being recognized as one of the Ten Excellent Teachers.
2) In 1986, Ms. Song earned the Chinese earliest attorney’s certificate and began to practice law. She has nearly 20 years of experience in legal practice and has extensive experience in litigation and other areas.
3) For example, in the Law Review, Politics and Law and other national magazines, Ms. Song wrote over ten specialized dissertations. “Economic Law, Research About Foreign Investment Legal Questions, Estate Administer Law Procedure” is one of her well-known works. Ms. Song has especially in-depth experience in Contract Law, Business Law, Intellectual Property Law and Marriage Law.
4) As a legal specialist, Ms. Song is often invited as a special guest to survey new issues for Guangdong Television and Guangdong Radio as well as for some large newspaper groups in Guangzhou, such as the Guangzhou Daily, Nanfang Daily and Yangcheng Evening News. Ms. Song is well-recognized by the general public in the locality for her abilities to simplify complex legal issues for general comprehension.
Practice of Law:
Since 1986, Ms. Song has actively practiced law. During this time, she has undertaken several hundred civil, economic and enforcement cases. At the same time, she is employed as permanent legal counsel by many corporations and companies. Because of her stable foundation in legal theory and seasoned practice, Ms. Song has accumulated significant actual practice experiences, especially in the follow three areas:
1) All classes of contract disputes. Ms. Song has handled a wide range of contract disputes, including ordinary contracts, leasing contracts, construction contracts, technology transfer contracts, contracts of bailment, and power supply contracts. Ms Lian also has experience in contract law of an uncategorized nature. She has handled over a hundred cases and has acquired the skills to avoid contracts that trap the unwary.
2) Company and corporation business. Based on her acute knowledge of the Company Law and all classes of Enterprise Law, as well as her seasoned practice and experience in these areas, Ms. Lian is able to provide feasible solutions to all classes of enterprises regarding legal questions about the operations management process, including establishing internal rules and regulations, handling company system transfers into the market, converting debt into shares, asset reorganizations, etc.
3) Intellectual property law business. Ms. Song has been appointed legal counsel at many domestic high-tech companies and network companies. She handles all kinds of intellectual property disputes, including Oversea Large Record Companies v. Domestic Recreation Companies’ KTV Pirated Screen Right; Domestic And Oversea Large Record Companies and Singers v. All Laser Creation Companies Piracy CD and VCD; network piracy; commercial espionage; etc.
